Introduction of our seal expert: Juha Vierimaa is a descendant of a famous fishing and seal hunting family from Kalajoki and has been in contact with seals since childhood. Juha is also involved in seal research both in the Bay of Bothnia and with the Saimaa ringed seal. In addition to this, Juha has acted as an expert in ice conditions and seals, e.g. for the Madventures Finland team. In Juha’s words, “Spring and ice are the best gift the human mind can offer. The world of seals alone and the open sea with its ice poses challenges for those who move there. That world is survival. The knowledge and behaviour of seals will enchant you by their uniqueness. ”
Our seal excursions are unique and are carried out with careful planning.
We value our common safety! We wish you are well when participating on our trips. All of our clients are given life jackets before boarding. Prior to departure, we also go through the main safety issues. For more information >>
